Bio

Volodja Balzalorsky-He is a violin soloist and chamber musician – more than 35 years performing worldwide at festivals and concert series, especially focusing in the Violin-Piano Duo (various piano partners, last period with the pianist Aleksandar Serdar (Serbia) and also with Peter Caelen (Netherland).

He is a member of the Amael Piano Trio (www.amaeltrio.com)

Since 1996 he is teaching Violin, and Chamber music at the Music Academy of Ljubljana University as Full Professor.

He also teaches talented younger pupils at the Conservatory in Ljubljana and gives Violin Masterclasses in various countries, several times as Erasmus exchange.

Many of his former students are prize winners at national and international competitions.
